Prince William unhappy with wedding guest list

Britain's Prince William was unhappy about the first guest list for his wedding.
The 29-year-old royal was surprised to see he knew no one who would be in attendance to his nuptials to Kate Middleton - who is now known as the Duchess of Cambridge - and so he sought support from his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, who advised him to be firm with the plans.
He said: 'I was given a list in the first meeting of 777 names, and not one of them on there I knew. So it was a bit daunting and it was like, well, that seems to be the guest list's sorted, but no room for friends or family. And I wasn't too happy about it.
'I rang [the queen] for a bit of moral support and a bit of backup. She said, 'Ridiculous. Get rid of the list. Start from your friends.' '
William's wedding last April was broadcast around the world and he admits the large audience made him 'terrified' about the occasion.
Speaking on 'The Jubilee Queen With Katie Couric', he said: 'It was one of those days where you feel very elated. Also completely terrified, I have to be honest. The prospect of two billion people watching was quite daunting.'
Though William has a lot of respect for his grandmother - who celebrates her Diamond Jubilee next month - he admits he and his brother Prince Harry can be 'cheeky' to her.
He said: 'I still think she's just my grandmother, really. I'm probably a bit of a cheeky grandson, my brother as well.
'I always remember having a healthy respect for my grandmother.'
