Duchess Catherine
Duchess Catherine has been named one of the most beautiful women in the world by People magazine.
The 30-year-old royal - who will celebrate her one-year wedding anniversary on Sunday (29.04.12) - placed 10th in the publication's annual list.
The magazine said: 'Kate Middleton [Duchess Catherine] looked every bit the fairy-tale princess at her April 2011 royal wedding to Prince William. But the duchess, 30, has continued to impress the public with her down-to-earth sensibilities (she does her own makeup and recycles clothes) and also dazzle celebrities (Reese Witherspoon is a fan) with her warmth.'
A Buckingham Palace source added to the magazine: 'She is genuine, both in private and in public.'
While Beyonce Knowles took the top spot, other celebrities who rounded out the top ten included Sofia Vergara, Charlize Theron, Lily Collins, Madeleine Stowe, Christina Hendricks, Michelle Williams, Paula Patton and Miranda Lambert.
Catherine and her husband William will be visiting friends this weekend but are expected to return to their home in Anglesey, Wales on Sunday for a private first anniversary celebration.
