Prince Albert and Charlene turn out for Oscars
Feb 27, 2012, 13:02 GMT

Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco
Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco attended the Oscars last night (26.02.12).
The royal couple - who tied the knot in a lavish ceremony last July - attended the Academy Awards in Los Angeles for the first time, with the 34-year-old beauty opting for a stunning ivory gown by Swiss designer Akris to the star-studded ceremony.
In attending the Oscars, Albert and Charlene were following in the footsteps of the prince's late mother, legendary Hollywood star Grace Kelly, who picked up the Best Actress award in 1955 for her role in 'The Country Girl' prior to marrying Prince Rainier III the following year.
It was a busy weekend for the duo, as Saturday (25.02.12) saw them attend the Montblanc Champagne Brunch at Hotel Bel Air alongside a whole host of celebrities.
The event - which was attended by the likes of 'Desperate Housewives' star Teri Hatcher, model Petra Nemcova and actress Rosario Dawson - was held to celebrate the launch of Montblanc's exclusive new Princess Grace of Monaco collection.
Comprising watches, fine jewellery and writing instruments, the range celebrates the 'innate elegance' of the late royal and was showcased in full for the first time at the event.
