Britain's Duchess Catherine received a card and flowers from husband Prince William on Valentine's day yesterday (14.02.12).
The prince is currently working with the RAF in the Falkland Islands but still remembered to show his love for his spouse on the romantic holiday.
Diane Squires, whose 12-year-old daughter Megan was among the patients at Alder Hey hospital who met the duchess during an official visit yesterday, said:
'She told us she had received a Valentine's card and flowers from William this morning,'
During her visit to the facility in Liverpool, North West England, Catherine toured the oncology unit and was given a card from Megan.
She told her: 'Thank you so much, I'll make sure I show it to William when he gets back. Which is not too far away now.'
Catherine was given a black cocker spaniel puppy for her recent 30th birthday by William and disclosed the dog's name to another patient, 12-year-old Elliot Casey.
However, after whispering the name in his ear, she told Elliot not to tell anyone and the youngster vowed to keep it secret.
His mother Lisa was thrilled by the visit.
She said: 'She had a really nice way about her, she could talk to children. To get that instant rapport with children is a special gift. I think she'll be good at her job.'
