Prince William's rapper pals
May 27, 2010, 12:02 GMT
Britain's Prince William could soon be inviting Tinie Tempah to join him in a game of Polo.
The prince - who is second in line for the throne - was introduced to the chart-topping rapper at Radio 1's Big Weekend, with onlookers saying the pair were chatting "for ages".
A source told The Sun newspaper: "To see Wills making a beeline for Tinie was strange but brilliant. William told him he's a big fan. He said Pass Out is one of his favourite songs. Tinie was made up.
"Tinie said he wouldn't mind trying a bit of polo so Wills invited him to an upcoming match - as a spectator of course."
According to the insider, the royal asked Tinie when his new album would be coming out and danced away to the hip hop artist's set with girlfriend Kate Middleton.
Tinie said: "He was a nice guy. We were just talking and getting familiar."
Prince William is not the only member of the royal family who has struck up a friendship with a British rapper.
His brother Prince Harry was introduced to Dizzee Rascal at 2009's O2 Wireless Festival in London's Hyde Park.
Dizzee described the prince as more "rock 'n' roll" than most royals and said he was "a naughty boy" with pals "wilder" than his own.
