Princess Victoria's baby plans
May 25, 2010, 12:02 GMT
Sweden's Crown Princess Victoria's fiance Daniel Westling is eager to start a family.
The 36-year-old luxury gym owner - who is set to wed the princess on June 19 - admitted he was getting anxious about the big day but knew she was the one as he hoped to start a family with her in the near future.
He said: "In 10 years time, I hope we will have created a family."
When asked how many small princes and princesses he'd like to raise, he said: "A number... although that is not the kind of thing one can really predetermine."
Speaking about the wedding, Daniel claimed he had already begun preparing for life in the royal spotlight and admitted he had accepted the fact that his 31-year-old wife would always be in the limelight.
He said: "When the big day comes around I guess I'll be standing there with both butterflies in my stomach and trembling knees. My biggest task will be to support the Crown Princess. Adjusting to that role takes time. I hope there will be understanding for the fact that the person standing here the day after the wedding will not yet be a full-fledged prince."
He added: "For me, it is no problem to walk one, two or 10 steps behind Victoria and still keep my self-esteem intact."
