Duchess of York attends military tattoo
May 14, 2010, 12:03 GMT
Britain's Camilla, the Duchess of York was saluted at a military tattoo yesterday (13.05.10).
The duchess - who was guest of honour at the second day of the Windsor Castle Royal Tattoo, a four-day event to celebrate and showcase the talents of the three armed forces - walked with the aid of crutches as she greeted servicemen and women.
Camilla - who recently broke her left leg - watched a marching band and gun display, before being shown a modern military re-enactment in the grounds of Windsor Castle.
She later enjoyed a show which involved horseman performing stunts to music.
The tattoo, which is a not-for-profit event, is now in its third year.
This year also sees the celebration of the 350th anniversary of the Household Cavalry and the 150th year of the Cadets.
All money raised from the event will go to the Royal British Legion.
