Queen Elizabeth kept waiting

Britain's Queen Elizabeth was kept waiting by Nicolas Sarkozy because he was making love.
The French president Nicolas Sarkozy and his wife Carla Bruni - who were an hour late for a meeting with Queen Elizabeth at Windsor castle during a state visit in 2008 - had reportedly been having sex and lost track of time, claims a new book.
The couple are said to have appeared flustered when they finally turned up, but claimed they had been held up by urgent government business.
According to 'The Promise', by American journalist Jonathan Alter, Carla later boasted to the US First Lady Michelle Obama about her steamy sex life.
In the book, Alter writes: "Bruni wanted to know if, like the Sarkozys, Michelle and the President had ever kept anyone waiting that way."
The couple would have gotten married a couple of weeks before their visit to Britain.
