Prince Charles makes an environmental documentary
Apr 28, 2010, 12:59 GMT
Britain's Prince Charles is to have his environment documentary 'Harmony' shown on US TV.
The first-in-line to the British throne will see the programme aired in a televised special on the NBC network in November.
Speaking in a clip of the documentary, Charles suggests the world needs to take stock of the damage it is doing to the environment.
He said: "Just as mankind has the power to push the world to the brink, so too does he have the power to restore it. Is it really our intention to wipe all these people away from the land?"
The documentary specifically looks at the effect big business has on the environment, and is released alongside a feature film and a book.
Charles, 61, is well known for his keenness to discuss environmental issues, and earlier this week called for the refurbishment of stately homes to be done in an eco-friendly way.
The documentary will screen as part of the 'Green is Universal' initiative on NBC this autumn.
