Duchess of York's marriage advice
Apr 22, 2010, 12:01 GMT
Britain's Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, has offered marriage advice to Kate Middleton.
The duchess - who divorced Prince Andrew her husband of ten years in 1996 - has hinted that a royal marriage between Prince William and his girlfriend is in the pipeline after revealing the secret to a happy marriage is spending as much time as possible with your husband.
She told Popeater: "Remember that you're marrying a beautiful man you are in love with and remember to make time for him, because I didn't.
"Andrew and I spent 40 days together for the first five years of our marriage. I didn't know that would be the case, but figured it out two weeks after I was married."
The prince - who has been dating his girlfriend Kate Middleton, 28, since they met as students at St Andrews University - has yet to officially announce their engagement, although rumours have been in the pipeline for months.
It was most recently reported that the dates June 3 and 4 have been "mysteriously blocked out" on the Buckingham Palace calendar, indicating this is a possible date for the engagement announcement.
