Duchess of Cornwall's riding reception
Apr 21, 2010, 12:22 GMT
Britain's Duchess of Cornwall is to host a reception for a riding club.
Camilla - the wife of Prince Charles - will host the event at her Clarence House home, where she will welcome staff and volunteers from the Ebony Horse club in London today (21.04.10).
The club, based in Brixton, south London, gives eight to 19 year olds the chance to take up horse riding, and specialises in working with young people with emotional and behavioural problems.
Among guests expected to attend are BBC sports presenter Claire Balding and restaurant critic Jay Rayner, the patron of the club.
The reception is Camilla's first public engagement since breaking her leg in a fall two weeks ago.
Later in the evening, Charles will host a reception and dinner for the British Asian Trust at St James' Palace.
The organisation supports education, enterprise and health charities both in the UK and abroad in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
