Britain's Prince William reportedly held a five-day marriage summit over Christmas.
The prince - who has been dating Kate Middleton, 28, since they met at St. Andrew's University in Scotland eight years ago - is allegedly ready to tie the knot with her and settle down into married life.
William - who is second in line to the throne - is believed to have met with Kate and his father Prince Charles at his royal estate in Birkhall, Scotland, for a series of discreet meetings.
The trio then reportedly discussed when their impending engagement and subsequent wedding would take place.
They also took a number of long walks over the festive period where Kate was able to raise her concerns about becoming William's wife.
A source told the Daily Express newspaper: "Kate was also able to discuss the stress and pressure that her parents have been under too."
It has previously been reported that her parents, Michael and Carole Middleton were concerned their daughter has put her life on hold since meeting William.
Prince Charles recently acknowledged Kate for the first time in public when she attended William's helicopter pilot graduation ceremony.
