Denmark's Prince Frederik has led a green energy business summit.
The prince - who is in the middle of a week-long trip to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates - has helped boost Danish exports in the Gulf States region, say the Danish Trade Council.
He has also appeared as a speaker at the World Future Energy Summit in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, where he was joined by the chief executives of DONG Energy and Vestas.
Jarl Frijs-Madsen, the head of the Danish Trade Council, told the Copenhagen Post that the involvement of the prince had benefitted Danish exports in the region.
He said: "The participants in the World Future Energy Summit are especially important for the Danish efforts to export green technology."
The Energy Summit, which is the first international meeting on the subject since Copenhagen, will hopefully identify practical and sustainable solutions for today's energy security, environment and climate change challenges at the event.
