Kate Middleton's fashion fun

Britain's Kate Middleton could be a future fashion ambassador. The longtime girlfriend of future king Prince William - who she is expected to get engaged to this year -has been praised by fashion experts who say she is leading the royal style stakes just like William's late mother, Diana, Princess of Wales. Fashion Director Hilary Alexander told Hello! magazine: "Once the engagement is announced, hopefully she will come out of the closet and be an ambassador for fashion."It would be great if she adopted young designers such as Richard Nicoll, Jonathan Saunders or Christopher Kane. Someone with her profile could give British fashion a boost across the world."David Emanuel, the man who designed Diana's wedding dress to Prince Charles in 1981, said Kate was always picture perfect and would be an ideal fashion ambassador. He said: "She is well groomed and well bred and she seems to know what she's about - a confident girl."
