Duchess of York's book fear
Dec 18, 2009, 13:18 GMT
Britain's Sarah Ferguson is taking legal action to stop a controversial book being published.
The Duchess of York is furious with journalist Chris Rogers' plans to publish 'Under Cover', based on conversations they had about her undercover documentary on orphans in Turkey and wants to stop the tome being published.
Sarah - who originally agreed to write the preface for 'Under Cover' - has issued a writ in the High Court in London asking for the publishers, Authentic Media, not to release the book because of the dispute it has caused between Turkey and Britain.
Officials from Authentic Media are adamant they will fight her legal claim.
A spokesperson from the publishing house told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: "We are 100 per cent confident that the book will come out. If necessary, we will fight through whatever court it takes. Conversations are going on between Chris Rogers and Buckingham Palace."
Following the documentary, officials in Turkey demanded the duchess be extradited for breaching their laws on filming minors.
