Japan's Crown Princess Masako has said she will keep working to fight her stress problems.
The 46-year-old royal - who is married to Crown Prince Naruhito - said she has been working with medical professionals to solve her illness.
She said: "I would like to continue my efforts to recover, with the help of people around me.
"Under the guidance of my doctor, I have been doing my best, step by step, to regain my health, mentally and physically."
She also thanked her fellow royal family members, including Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko.
"I am deeply grateful that their majesties have always been looking after me carefully, and I also appreciate the encouragement and support I receive from the Crown Prince every day."
Discussing her daughter, eight-year-old Princess Aiko, she added: "I am really happy that she has been growing while enjoying her school life very much."
Crown Princess Masako has undertaken few official duties since she was diagnosed with adjustment disorder in July 2004.
