Britain's Prince Philip has been presented with a pair of Bermuda shorts.
The Duke of Edinburgh - who is on an official visit to the Caribbean island with wife Queen Elizabeth - was given the unfashionable item of clothing, which were made famous by the country, by the managing director of a clothing store.
David Hamshere told him: "You'll definitely look very elegant in them."
The knee-length shorts are traditionally worn with knee length socks, and teamed with a jacket and tie - an outfit known as a 'Bermuda rig'- and Philip was also given socks and a tie.
However, he said he wouldn't be putting them on straight away.
Hamshere also gave the queen and prince an insight into the history of the shorts.
He said: "The British military officers in the late 19th Century found it was so warm and hot, because it gets humid in Bermuda.
"They were allowed to cut off their trousers, and that's how the shorts evolved. Bermudans took that idea and created the idea of the dress look."
The couple are in the Caribbean island for an official visit to celebrate the 400th anniversary of Bermuda's settlement by the British.
