A renowned photographer wants to make the girlfriend of Britain's Prince William the focus of a new set of pictures.
Mario Testino - whose sitters have included the prince's mother Princess Diana and supermodel Kate Moss - claims he is yet to ask Kate Middleton if he can photograph her but believes it would provide an insight into her life.
He said: "I would love to photograph Kate.??
"But with some people it's hard to find a time when you are both free to organise it. I haven't managed to pin her down yet."
The world-renowned photographer also hopes to take pictures of Queen Elizabeth II.
He added in an interview with Britain's Hello! magazine: "When I first came to London 32 years ago, I never expected to do even one royal - so I was shocked when I got my chance with Diana.??
"I've done five front covers for Vogue in my career and I think it would be great to photograph the queen."
It shouldn't be difficult for Testino to track down trainee fashion photographer Kate - as she starts work with fellow photographer Nikolai von Bismark in January.
Kate is jetting to New York for the placement after spending Christmas with the prince and the royal family at their country estate Sandringham.
