Britain's Zara Phillips wowed guests at the Melbourne Cup with her glamorous appearance.
The 28-year-old horsewoman - granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II - impressed fellow celebrities at the racing event dressed in a royal blue prom-style dress by designer Thread Social with elegant peep-toe heels.
Zara - who arrived in a blaze of publicity - told the crowds she enjoyed wearing more relaxed outfits at the Australian event, compared to the stricter dress of Britain's Royal Ascot.
She said: "Ascot has a lot of rules about dress codes, so it's nice to be able to be a bit more relaxed and for women to be able to wear skirts that are a bit shorter. Of course the other thing about Melbourne is the weather is better!"
Zara - who is dating rugby player Mike Tindall - was one of a number of celebrities attending the prestigious horse race which is in its 148th year.
?Grease' star Olivia Newton-John, who sang the Australian national anthem at the event, also turned heads in a tall black hat trimmed with netting and feathers.
Other stars present included Ronan Keating, Sibylla Deen, Esther Anderson, Jessica McNamee, Shannon Noll, Rachael Finch, Kate Waterhouse, Hamish Blake and Andy Lee.
