Thailand's King Bhumibol is in "satisfactory" health.
The Bureau of the Royal Household has released another statement insisting the 81-year-old monarch - who has been hospitalised since September 19 with suspected pneumonia - is in a good condition.
The press release read: "The committee of royal physicians reported that his majesty the king's general condition is satisfactory. He has a good appetite and can sleep well. Blood tests show his lung inflammation has subsided."
Earlier this week, Bhumibol's youngest daughter Princess Chulabhorn passionately insisted her father's health is improving.
Speaking at the Thai Embassy in Germany, Chulabhorn said: "The doctors say there is no danger. He needs physical therapy so he can stand and walk like normal, which is why he's still in the hospital.
"These days, His Majesty can talk and eat almost normally. His condition has greatly improved."
Rumours Bhumibol's health in is decline caused chaos in the Thai stock market last week, with the stocks plummeting to their lowest levels in a year.
The king continues to fight his illness in Bangkok's Siriraj Hospital.
