Britain's Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall are going to Canada.
The couple will spend 11 days in the country next month, visiting 12 cities on a trip which takes place shortly before Charles' mother, Queen Elizabeth - the Canadian head of state - visits with her husband Prince Philip as part of an effort by Britain to renew and strengthen its ties with Canada.
Speaking about Charles and Camilla's trip, Canada's Prime Minister Stephen Harper told Britain's Daily Express newspaper: "The visit by their royal highnesses is a great honour for Canadians.
"It will allow all of us, particularly young people, an opportunity to learn more about the heritage and traditions of which we are all proud."
The visit, which begins on November 2, will take in four provinces, Newfoundland and Labrador, Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia.
Charles has visited Canada several times, most recently in 2001, but it will be Camilla's first official visit to the country.
