Russell Brand thinks Queen Elizabeth should buy a soccer team.
The British comedian has devised a cunning plot to take control of "all the money in England" that involves the 83-year-old royal purchasing West Ham United football club.
He joked on his Twitter page: "The Queen supports West Ham. Perhaps she'll buy the club then legitimately all the money in England shall be ours. Plus all the swans (sic)."
Brand was referring to the custom that dictates the queen owns all unmarked, mute swans in open water in Britain.
It's not the first time the comic has tried to get a head of state involved in the soccer team.
Earlier this year, he phoned US President Barack Obama to ask if rumours he supported the club were true.
After failing to get through, Brand left a voicemail message saying: "Dear Barack Obama, we are calling you to find out if you are in fact the world's most famous West Ham supporter as it is claimed. I haven't ever seen you at Upton Park, and what formation do you suggest Gianfranco Zola plays?"
