Britain's Queen Elizabeth's royal guards have signed a £1 million record deal.
The Regimental Band of the Coldstream Guards - whose day job is to protect the 83-year-old monarch at her palaces - will release an album with Universal Music later this year, entitled ?Heroes' and will include music from ?Where Eagles Dare' and ?The Dam Busters'.
Lieutenant Colonel Jeremy Bagshaw said: "There's something about that sound that makes you puff out your chest and makes you feel like a hero.
"It's emotive and powerful music. This is a time when maybe we could all do with a few more heroes."
Although they've signed a lucrative deal, Colour Sergeant Dave Desmond doesn't think fame and fortune will change them.
He told Britain's The Times newspaper: "I don't think we would consider ourselves as rock stars. We are professional musicians in the army."
Dickon Stainer, managing director of Decca, which is part of Universal, said of the deal: "If they're good enough for the queen, they're good enough for Decca."
The Coldstream Guards are one of the four Foot Guards regiments of the Household Division and all wear the distinctive red uniforms and bearskin hats.
One of the band's main ceremonial duties is the daily Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace.
