Britain's Prince Harry wants to phone Paul Burrell and tell him to shut up.
The 24-year-old prince was reportedly "incensed" by the former royal butler's recent claim that Prince Charles was completely uninterested in Harry's birth.
Burrell - who worked for Harry's mother Princess Diana for 10 years until her death in 1997 - said: "The day Harry was born Prince Charles went to visit him peeped into the cot for five minutes and said 'Oh it's a boy' then he went to the opera.
Burrell also claimed Diana - who was killed in a Paris car crash - used to cry constantly after Charles told her he never loved her and only married her to have children.
Friends claim Harry is ready to confront Burrell and tell him to stop speaking about his family.
An insider told Britain's Daily Express newspaper: "Harry is angry that he, his mother and his father are being spoken about by Burrell in this way. He's had to put up with a lot from Burrell but this latest interview is the final straw.
"He feels he's the only one who can do anything about it. He's ready to speak to Burrell over the phone. Harry knew Burrell very well when he was a child so you would hope he will be finally shown some loyalty."
Harry and his older brother Prince William have previously accused Burrell - who wrote a tell-all book about the princess and appeared on several reality TV shows - of shamelessly profiting from their mother's death.
They didn't invite him to Diana's memorial service in 2007 and have reportedly rejected his attempts to reconcile with them since.
