Britain's Prince Harry is a "down to earth young fellow".
The 24-year-old royal - who is due to make his first official visit to America later this month - received the glowing description from Lesotho's Prince Seeiso, who co-founded Harry's Sentebale charity.
Seeiso said: "Harry's a down-to-earth young fellow. Although he is who he is, he is very approachable and warms to people readily.
"He's intuitive, in the sense of immediately appreciating whether someone's coming genuinely to him for him as a person rather than his title."
The princes set up Sentebale in 2006 to help vulnerable children and young people in the African kingdom.
During his US trip, Harry will take part in a charity polo match in New York to raise money for the organisation.
Speaking about time he has spent with Harry in Lesotho, Seeiso - who will also play in the polo match - told People magazine: "He warms to the children there very easily. He is a young man who loves life, like any other young chap, and he's passionate about what he's doing.
"We tend to be overshadowed by our big brother South Africa, so the more people who make inquiries about Lesotho and hopefully visit will be a great spin-off."
Harry is funding his Stateside trip himself, because it is a mix of personal and public business.
