Prince Charles' Rania admirer

Jordan's Queen Rania is an "admirer" of Britain's Prince Charles.

The 38-year-old royal thinks the prince is a wonderful person who has always stood up for what he believes in.

She said: "I have a great deal of admiration and respect for him. I respect him because he has taken on causes way before they were fashionable and at the risk of sometimes being criticised for that.

"When it comes to dialogue between East and West, he has always reached out."

Rania also praised Charles' parenting skills after meeting his sons Princes William and Harry last November.

She told Hello! magazine: "I got the chance to meet Charles' sons during his 60th birthday celebrations at Buckingham Palace. They are so down-to-earth, so warm, a tribute to both their parents."

Rania was recently voted the world's fourth most beautiful woman.

The queen - who is married to King Abdullah II - won three per cent of votes in an online survey conducted by Vanity Fair magazine.

'Changeling' actress Angelina Jolie topped the list with 58 per cent of the vote, followed by supermodel Gisele Bunchen (9 per cent) and 'Gothika' star Halle Berry (4 per cent).
