Denmark's Prince Joachim and Princess Marie have embarked on a tour of Russia.
The royals started their five-day promotional tour of the country in Yekaterinburg, where they visited the Cathedral and an exhibition on the life of Empress Maria Feodorovna, who was born Princess Dagmar of Denmark and Iceland but later became the Empress Consort of Russia via marriage.
Joachim and Marie also visited a fashion show and an exclusive store.
The royal couple are visiting the country in order to promote cultural and economic ties between Denmark and Russia.
The pair are also planning to visit Moscow and St. Petersburg during their stay.
Last week, it was announced Princess Marie is pregnant, with the child expected next May.
The baby will be the first child for the couple - who married last May - although Joachim has two sons, Prince Nikolai, nine, and six-year-old Prince Felix, with his ex-wife Alexandra Manley.
Joachim and Alexandra married in 1995 but announced their separation in 2004. Their divorce was finalised in 2005.
