Britain's Princess Beatrice wowed onlookers with a floor-length dress at a charity ball last night (30.10.08).
The 20-year-old royal attended the Children in Crisis 15th anniversary gala ball at London's Old Billingsgate Markey with her mother Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York.
Beatrice wore a sweeping taupe-coloured one-shoulder gown, with a beaded waistband and carried a bunch of white flowers.
Sarah chose a deep green velvet gown, with a plunging neckline.
The duchess is founder and life president of Children in Crisis, a charity which seeks to improve the lives of children around the world who are affected by conflict, deprivation and poverty.
Beatrice is a junior ambassador for the organisation, which was celebrating helping over one million vulnerable children throughout the world at the ball.
Discussing the event, Sarah said: "The charity began its life with a fundraising event but we could only dream that we would still be serving the world's most vulnerable children 15 years on. This evening is intended to be a celebration of all that we have achieved and an opportunity for people to learn more about our efforts to ensure that every child has the education that provides the foundation for a happy and fulfilled life."
