Qing dynasty artefacts exhibited

An exhibition of ancient artefacts used by the Chinese Qing Dynasty has gone on display in Korea for the first time.
The royal antiques are set to go on show at the Gyeonggi Provincial Museum on loan from China's Shenyang Palace Museum as part of cultural exchanges between the two institutes.
The exhibit features around 70 pieces of imperial items, including porcelain, paintings and calligraphies, household supplies, weapons, costumes and tableware, and will run until February 1 next year.
The Qing Dynasty was the last ruling dynasty of China and was in power from 1644 to 1912.
Earlier this month, plans to auction off two 18th century Qing Dynasty artefacts met an angry response from Chinese opposition.
Auction house Christies is planning to put the heads of a rabbit and a mouse previously owned by late French fashion designer Yves St-Laurent under the hammer in February 2009.
Protestors claim the pieces were stolen from the Old Summer Palace in Beijing by French and British troops.
