Princess Anne's Northern Ireland visit

Britain's Princess Anne has met with several charities in Northern Ireland. The royal was the guest of honour at a reception hosted by charity Save the Children - of which she is patron - at Hillsborough Castle in County Down.The princess' engagements also saw her visiting Belfast Lough Sailability Group at Carrickfergus marina.The charity aims to promote sailing for people with disabilities.Later, Anne met children from Mitchell House Special School and was treated to a sailing display. Her series of duties then took her to north Belfast, where she opened the new Grove Health and Well Being Centre.The last appointment on the royal's busy schedule was to launch the Mary Peters Trust - which helps boost the profile and raise funds for sporting organisations - at Belfast Harbour Office.Earlier this week, Anne met with ex-criminals who had turned their lives around after turning to Good Soil Project, a project based at Top Barn near Worcester, England, which aims to help offenders move away from a life of crime by encouraging them to learn how to farm.
