Britain's Princess Beatrice is set to buy a £4.25 million student house.
The 19-year-old royal, who will begin a history degree at London's Goldsmiths College in September, has been househunting in Belgravia - one of London's most exclusive areas.
Last week, Beatrice looked at a four-bedroom, four-bathroom property on a street that has been home to many top British politicians.
A source told Britain's Mail on Sunday newspaper: "Beatrice has been looking at properties around Central and South-West London. The search has been going on for months.
"I think it's unlikely she's going to be spending anything like £4.25 million. I'd have thought £1 million is more likely."
Beatrice is believed to have told estate agents she is buying alone and isn't moving in with her mother, the Duchess of York.
The source added: "Her mother is taking a keen interest but nothing more than that. They get on very well but are not about to move in together."
Beatrice - who is fifth in line to the throne - is a beneficiary of a trust fund worth a reported £2.5 million set up by the late Queen Mother.
She was granted access to her share after turning 18 in 2006.
