Leeds University chiefs have banned the student publication from running any more stories about Chelsy, who is studying a post-graduate law degree at the north of England institution, in a bid to protect her privacy.
Bosses decided to impose the ban after students wanted to write a story about a prank on social networking site Facebook called 'By the End of the Year I Want to Sniff Chelsy's Hair'.
A source at the university told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "We heard about the prank but they banned us writing about it. Then they banned any mention of Chelsy. A student paper should have free speech."
A friend of Chelsy's insists the blonde beauty had nothing to do with the ban, saying she wouldn't have minded being the subject of campus ridicule.
The pal explained: "Chelsy's really normal and just tries to fit in."
A spokesman for the university said: "We will not be commenting."
