Zara - the daughter of Princess Anne and her ex-husband Mark Phillips - took on the cold British weather by wrapping up in a long black coat and grey and black gloves for her trip to Cheltenham Racecourse.
Zara - who received her Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) honour at London's Buckingham Palace in November for her services to equestrianism - left her fiancé, rugby star Mike Tindall, at home to enjoy her time with friends.
One onlooker said: "Zara looked really well. She was laughing and joking round with friends while watching the races. I don't know if she won any money, but she certainly looked happy when she left."
Meanwhile, Mike recently revealed he would be happy to be a house husband to allow 26-year-old Zara to progress in her professional show-jumping career.
He said: "I would happily not work, learn to cook and stay at home with the kids. As a champion show-jumper Zara can go on for longer than I can. Why shouldn't I stay at home?"

Since when was Zara engaged to Mike Tindall? Her brother recently got engaged but she certainly has not or there would have been huge publicity about it. Try to get some facts right?
