Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, is spending Christmas in Norway with her new lover.
Sarah Ferguson - the ex-wife of Britain's Prince Andrew - flew by private plane to Geir Frantzen's farmhouse situated on the remote islands of Vesteralen, which are 100 miles north of the Arctic Circle, on Friday (21.12.07).
The couple - whose representatives insist they are just good friends - have been seen braving the icy temperatures to do some last minute Christmas shopping.
Sources say the duchess - who is nicknamed ?Fergie' - is "head over heels" in love with the Norwegian food tycoon after meeting him a year ago to discuss a business venture to sell health supplements.
One told Britain's Daily Mail newspaper: "She's like a little girl when he's around. They go out to nightclubs and bars in London.
"He says that when they come home at the end of the evening, they kiss and cuddle in the back of the car. For her it's a real love affair."
The duchess' daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, will spend the festive period with Prince Andrew and the rest of the royal family at Queen Elizabeth's Norfolk residence, Sandringham estate.
Sarah and Geir have been seen at a "variety of social engagements" together in the past few months, including a Spice Girls concert and boxer Ricky Hatton's world title bout in Las Vegas.
However, Geir's spokesman Simon Rees denies there is any romance between the 40-year-old millionaire - who owns the frozen food company Findus - and the duchess.
He insists Geir - who has a nine-year-old daughter from a previous relationship - and Sarah are working on some business projects together, and added Geir has "quite a serious partner in his life" in Norway.
