Harry presented seven-year-old Rebekah Hesmer - who suffers from the rare skin disorder Erythrokeratoderma, which leaves her in constant pain - with The Best Brave Child award in the six to eight age range at a recent Wellchild charity awards ceremony in London.
Rebekah - who travelled to Lords cricket ground with her family for the event - was over the moon to meet the 23-year-old prince.
She told local newspaper the Bexhill-on-Sea Observer: "I went to Lords with my mum, dad and sister Charlotte who were all very excited too.
"I don't like having bad skin and being different. It hurts all the time. But meeting Prince Harry was wonderful. He was very nice."
Rebekah was introduced to Harry prior to the awards ceremony and walked into the event holding his hand.
She sat next to him all evening and during the presentations Harry picked her up and sat her on his lap.
All the children were also presented with special Wellchild 30th Anniversary medals by the prince.

Wonderful? Many of us think 'Prat' is a better description.
