The fact that William and Harry organised the service at all, not to mention their readings - especially Harry's eulogy - said it all. They love their silly old ninny of a father but reject his behaviour to their beloved mother. Surely they must know that their beloved mother was destroyed by Camilla Parker Bowles's manipulative behaviour - and that their silly old father should never have allowed the ruthless Camilla to make him marry her? William & Harry, your father - by his arrogance in marrying Camilla - made sure that all the diviseness, and all the unpleasantness, would never ever be put to rest during their lifetimes. They are the reason why your mother's memory will not be laid to rest and there will be no closure

Forgive me, if I missed something. Was there a poll taken to get the real feelings of the people on weather Camilla should attend or not. A lot of us are just too tired with this hysterical Diana support. Get over it people and let these people get on with their lives.

A recent phone-in TV Poll in England on the 'Popularity of the Royals' gave her a staggering vote of 1% .
So with ONE percent popularity ratings (which is only marginally more favourable than Adolf Hitler) means there is simply no enthusiasm in the UK for her.
Ah, it's all a bunch of boring drama, isn't it? Diana is so unbelievably overrated, over-hyped, and mythologized--far more than she deserves. You-all don't need a monarchy anyway, a bunch of spoiled inbred parasites on society, a vestige of darker ages.
The real crime here is the pricey yacht with its expensive maintenance and huge staff--how do you people justify supporting these relics when there are so many needy children in Britain and around the world. We Yanks do oh so many things so lamely, but thank God we've thrown off the yoke a useless anachronism. Off with their heads! Well, at least off with their royal budgets.
QE2 is going to hang on as Queen until Charles is dead and hand over the monarchy to Prince William. Camilla will never be queen.
I agree with most of you. Camilla does not appeal me in the least, especially to look at. I don't think she belonged at that memorial service. And, I certainly hope she does not become queen.
I don't care a bit of a whit, or a whit of a bit, because I'm American! But if this row entertains you Brits, more power to you.
It seems too bad that these people have to swim in a fish bowl in front of public opinion. On the other hand, they are paid awfully well to do it!

Being in America where we don't have royalty only (currently) a dictatorship perhaps I don't understand these things.
I am under the impression that when Camilla accepted the alternate title of Duchess of Cornwall she forfeited the future title of Queen. Upon Charles taking over the throne won't she be Royal Consort or something to that effect?
Did anyone explain this to Camilla? She seems pompously unclear of what lays ahead....
My guess is that the Prince's and Camilla's media people are advising her to just say that she doesn't want to be Queen at the moment in the hope that public opinion of her improves.
I am not happy that if the Queen dies, Camilla will automatically become Queen of Australia (and other countries) unless legislation is passed. No-one here wants that dried out old slag as Queen.
Forget 'Ship of State.' Think 'Ship of Fools.'
Its time we rid ourselves of the whole lot of these overated pompous wasters. Our country will only become a true democracy when we finally have the sense to tell the whole bunch that 'in the name of God go.'
Diana was the real Queen of England - although never actually crowned.
Camilla just can't see it. She is being judged by how she treated Diana - and it doesn't look good.
Wise choice if the Queen missed a generation – in the light of Charles and his wife, and gives the Crown to the Boy.
Going forward the best choice for a modern looking Royal family lies with the sons of Diana.
The media made Diana overrated, not the people (those who actually loved her for who she was and what she stood for) and that, Adrian from Seattle, is why so many are getting sick of things. As for inbred parasites... Oh, the thoughts of hypocrisy nearly formed words in my mouth upon reading that!
I find it humorous when people remark on this subject to say, it's boring, get a life. For how pathetic are they to comment on a subject they have no interest in, and how boring must their lives be to do so?
