Britain's Princess Beatrice celebrated success in her A-levels yesterday (16.08.07).
The 19-year-old royal - the daughter of Sarah Ferguson and her ex-husband Prince Andrew - achieved an A grade in drama and Bs in history and film studies in her post-16 British school qualifications.
Beatrice, who suffers from dyslexia, attended Berkshire's St George's School in Ascot, where she was head girl.
The princess is taking a gap year to spend some time in America and embark on a field project in Africa before heading to university.
A royal spokesman said Beatrice plans to undertake a "creative" degree at either a Scottish university or London's Goldsmiths.
Beatrice achieved greater academic success than her royal cousin Prince William.
William - who attended the prestigious Eton College - only gained two A-levels, with a B in art and a D in geography.
Beatrice's sister Princess Eugenie was also celebrating success in her AS-levels - the first part of the A-level qualification which British pupils sit the year before.
The 17-year-old royal achieved three As in politics, history of art and art and one B in English.
The princess' parents were overjoyed with the daughters' success.
In a joint statement they said: "The girls are delighted with their results and we are both extremely proud of them."

Harry got a B and a D at A level, not William.
