Most Invited Kate Middleton

Kate Middleton, the girlfriend of Britain's Prince William, has topped Tatler's 100 Most Invited list.

The 25-year-old was named the magazine's most sought after party guest ahead of Britain's former prime minister Tony Blair and his wife Cherie.

The magazine gushed: "Suddenly single, this sexy siren is super in-demand. Life after Wills is rather better than you'd imagine."

It is the second time Kate has made the eagerly anticipated annual list.

In 2004, when she was merely rumoured to be William's girlfriend, she made it to number 12 on the annual poll.

Kate and William, 25, were together for four years before splitting in April, but have recently rekindled their romance.

A Tatler source told Britain's Daily Mail: "Even if she's back with William now, her position is assured. You can't get much higher than No 1."

It has been reported that although William engineered the initial split, claiming he was too young to settle down, he realised that he had made a mistake and asked Kate to take him back.

William is allegedly planning to whisk Kate away on a romantic holiday in August so they can spend some quality time together.
