Diana's half-sister Jemima?
Jun 12, 2007, 12:20 GMT
Princess Diana may have been the half-sister of heiress Jemima Khan, is has been revealed.
In Tina Brown's new book 'The Diana Chronicles' the author claims the princess' mother Frances Shand Kydd had a long-running affair with Jemima's father Sir James Goldsmith during her marriage to Earl Spencer.
She suggests Diana - who was born in 1961 - may have been Goldsmith's love child and not Spencer's daughter.
But the writer - who is said to have received a £1 million advance from publishers for the controversial book - could not prove the story.
Goldsmith's daughter Jemima, 33, divorced cricket ace Imran Khan in 2004 after nine yeas of marriage and went on to date actor Hugh Grant, but split from him earlier this year.
Brown's book - published next week - also claims Diana was in love with a Pakistani heart surgeon named Hasnat Khan.
She writes the princess did not love Dodi Al Fayed - with whom she was killed in the Paris car crash in August 1997 - but conducted the romance out of retaliation against the British Royal Family.

I belive that Diana is a Spencer and that the Earl is her biological father.
Critics continue to bring up outlandish possibilities that mar her name. She was a human being with both good and bad traits like all mankind, but she did possess a certain grace, dignity, and humanity that made her beloved by millions.
