Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, is being lined up to appear as a judge of US TV show 'Project Runway'.
The duchess - who is the ex-wife of Britain's Prince Andrew - is known as a style icon in the States and TV bosses are keen to get her onboard for the reality talent show, which sees aspiring fashion designers compete for a prestigious prize.
A source told Britain's Daily Express newspaper: "Sarah is a style icon here in the States. The people behind 'Project Runway' think she'd be perfect as a judge.
"They think she'll bring style, grace and elegance to the programme. They're going all out to sign her up. They won't take no for an answer and apparently Sara is sounding enthusiastic about it."
Sarah - who has two children, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie with Andrew - was recently tipped to star on another hit US talent series, 'Dancing With The Stars'.
Speculation that the royal was to make a guest appearance was rife after the duchess expressed a desire to appear on the show.
She said: "I'd quite like to go on 'Dancing With The Stars'. I'd like them to teach me the tango."
The 47-year-old duchess - who divorced Prince Andrew in 1996 - developed a passion for the romantic dance while in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
She explained: "I did go to the oldest tango place and I did look at it and think, 'I can try this.'"
