Bets are still being taken on whether Britain's Prince William and Kate Middleton will get married - despite the couple announcing their split at the weekend.
Bookies have been forced to lower the odds to 6-1 on Kate becoming future queen, following a flood of punters backing the prince and his ex getting back together.
Ladbrokes spokesman Nick Weinberg told Britain's Daily Record newspaper: "Most of the bets we have had have been for £50 or £20 but we have had some three-figure bets as well."
Brunette beauty Kate, 25, is currently tipped joint 6-1 favourite to marry the prince - alongside Isabella Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe, 26.
The socialite is already a fond acquaintance of William's, and famously caused Kate to storm out of a ball in 2005 after the prince appeared to be paying her too much attention.
Not far behind Kate - who works for high street fashion chain Jigsaw - is Jessica Craig.
William, 24, reportedly had a brief romance with the pretty 25-year-old whom he met when he worked on her father's estate in Kenya during his gap-year in 2001.
Bets are also being taken on business tycoon Richard Branson's daughter, Holly, 25, Alexandra Knatchbull, 24, Rosanagh Innes-Ker, 28, and Arabella Musgrave, 25.
According to reports, Kate and William's split was a "mutual decision". However, the prince is said to have felt "too young" to settle down and keen to focus on his military career.
