Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, cried when she watched 'The Queen'.
The duchess says she was overcome by emotional when she saw Helen Mirren's portrayal of the monarch in Stephen Frears' hit movie.
Speaking after a New York dinner party last night (15.03.07), she told Fox news: "When I saw it, I thought, I would never betray this woman.
"She's so amazing, as a leader and as a woman."
Sarah commended Helen on her accurate characterisation of the queen, saying she had done excellent research and even held her eyeglasses like the 80-year-old royal.
She also revealed her daughters with ex-husband Prince Andrew, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, "jumped up and down" when Helen dedicated her Best Actress Oscar to their grandmother.
She said: "When Helen made her Oscar speech and she said, 'The Oscar goes to the real lady, herself,'
"My daughters jumped up and down. They said, 'Yes, Granny!'"
'The Queen' focuses on how the royal family coped in the week after the tragic death of Princess Diana in August 1997.

Fergie! She's only a Queen of nothing and you're getting all upset. Try doing something useful.....like maybe losing some weight!
