Britain's Zara Phillips put a drunken heckler firmly in his place when he criticised her outfit at Cheltenham races yesterday (15.03.07).
The 25-year-old attended the event with her rugby player boyfriend Mike Tindall, 28, but he had stepped away from her side when an intoxicated spectator hurled abuse about her about her tweed suit and trilby.
The champion equestrian kept her dignity and calmly turned to the man, looked him up and own and said: "So what are you wearing? A f***ing tracksuit?"
One witness told Britain's Sun newspaper: "It was hilarious."
British bookmakers have slashed the odds on Zara marrying Mike, after they were flooded with bets from the public following their latest public outing together.
Ladbrokes spokesman David Williams said: "The phones were ringing off the hook as punters couldn't get enough.
"We chalked up 6/1 on Zara and Mike's nuptials but were forced to cut that within half an hour."
Odds now stand at 4/1 despite Zara's own insistence that she has no plans to marry.
