Fergie and Camilla top mothers

Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, have both been nominated for Celebrity Mother of The Year.

Camilla - the wife of Prince Charles - and Sarah join a host of other famous mothers shortlisted for the parenting title by Grattan catalogue company.

Other nominees include supermodel Kate Moss, shamed 'Celebrity Big Brother' contestant Jade Goody, Heather Mills - the estranged wife of former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney - and glamour model Jordan.

The winner will be decided by public vote later this month.

Camilla is mother to two grown-up children - Tom, 32, and Laura, 28.

Tom courted controversy in 1999, when he was caught snorting cocaine at Cannes Film Festival. He is now married and pursuing a career as a food writer.

His younger sister Laura has managed to keep a relatively low profile and is also married.

Sarah - who has already picked up one parenting accolade this year when she was named Mother Of The Year by the American Cancer Society - has two daughters with ex-husband Prince Andrew, Princess Beatrice, 18, and Princess Eugenie, who turns 17 later this month.

Sarah recently invited Beatrice's new boyfriend, 24-year-old marketing man David Clark, to join them on their family skiing holiday.
