Ironic how the Japanese government demands apologies for what they deem as creative license and misrepresentations of their history, which is in itself, creative historical fiction for the most part to begin with. The intentional and methodical implementation of propaganda for the PURPOSE of ultra-nationalism served a purpose during their industrialization and imperialistic rampage during their Meiji Period, and still lingers today to a large degree. The right-wing radicals have perpetuated false beliefs about their ancestors, their purity, divinity, even their own Royal Family, which strangely enough is not even Japanese in origin. Most scholars, anthropologists, historians(except for the Japanese) understand that there is actually significant Korean blood in this lineage....which is why they are so afraid of objective outsiders investigating and examining these ancient imperial tombs. The general public of Japan do not know the truth about themselves, and defend their honor with fury. It is not their fault if you consider it. They were programmed and conditioned. The Japanese have alot to be proud of, but their constant invalidation of their neighbors keeps them in a cycle of defensiveness. Everyone else is telling them to wake up...but it will never happen. We'll just watch with fascination and a sense of humor at their constant rebuilding of this house of cards.
