Zara: The novel
Dec 28, 2006, 14:40 GMT
Britain's Zara Phillips is to be the subject of a major new royal biography.
The 25-year-old's life story is to be documented by royal biographer Brian Hoey, who has already written on Zara's grandmother Queen Elizabeth, her mother Princess Anne, Princess Diana, Prince William and Lord Snowdon.
The news of the publication comes after a remarkable year for Zara, which saw her named BBC Sports Personality of the Year, become World Equestrian Champion and be nominated for an MBE.
Hoey hopes to release his latest tome next summer, to coincide with the European Showjumping Championships.
A source told Britain's Daily Express newspaper: "The rumour is the book will be called 'Amazing' which is Zara's favourite word judging by how often it peppered her acceptance speech after winning the Sports Personality award."
It is not yet known if Zara - whose pierced tongue and stormy love-life have earned her the nickname 'royal rebel' - will be interviewed by Hoey for the book, but publishers Virgin promise it will be a "fresh, fun and popular" portrayal of the young royal.
Meanwhile, bookmakers have named Zara and her rugby player boyfriend Mike Tindall the celebrity couple most likely to get married in 2007.
Odds are 3-1 on that Zara will say yes to her boyfriend's proposal and 4-5 to marry him.
Zara's cousin Prince William's odds of marrying girlfriend Kate Middleton stand at 2-1, while Prince Harry's chances of marrying girlfriend Chelsy Davy are 25-1.
