I know from my own experience that anytime a group of people are allowed to 'Investigate themselves' they will come up with a finding in their favor. You have to be a idiot to believe that the English Government or anyone else allowed this unfair advantage is going to do anything but find in their own favor.

Linda I totaly agree with you..Princess Diana deserves far more respect than Chuck and his Mum gave her while she was alive and basically shunned her after her death. If not for her sons, who will never know the real truth, this wonderful woman would just fade away.

Well it is no surprise that Mohammed Fayed would come out and make 'claims' that are unfounded and simply not true. I blame entirely the papparazzi for exploiting the hell out of Princess Diana.
Her death was tragic, folks. Simple as that! My other concern is the driver was indeed drunk and yet the bodyguards allowed him to drive ( even though he was not licensed to drive that particular vehicle).
This whole thing is tragic and I truly believe just like Diana it should be laid to rest.
The French government as well as the British spent countless hours and money on this investigation. They concluded what most people already knew..it was an accident ( due to pushy, arrogant photographers).
Diana was not pregnant, she was not engaged. She was simply having some desperately needed fun to escape the pressures of being a royal.
Her death was premature and she is sadly missed on many occasions. Let's leave it at that. Remember Diana for who she was,a beautiful woman with passion for peace... let's give her that!

What are you ladies talking about? They aren't 'investigating themselves', they are investigating the death by car accident of a person. It is absolutely ridiculous that you believe like that old man who lost a son that there is a conspiracy of hundreds, if not thousands of like-minded racists in both the UK and France, simultaneously acting to quash evidence and obfuscate some type of Romeo/Juliet relationship between these two people. What sad little lives you both must have that you have to make a fairy tail out of this woman. The deranged thoughts of a sad old rich man are going to have negative consequences in the Arab world where they will look on it as 'proof' of western hatred for Arabs/Muslim when it is nothing but the paranoia of the wealthy and depression at losing his son. In the US, there are large portion of the black community who believe Snapple (the beverage) is a secret plot by the American government to sterilize black men. It's about the same level of reality in that as in this conspiracy theory.

My daughter-in-law,s family knew someone whom worked in the British Embassy in Paris, at the time of the tragic death of the Princess, and Dodi.
The morning before the deaths, british intellegence arrived, and all staff were instructed, under no circumstances, to answer incoming calls.
These comments were made by the parents of the employee, that alone convinced me, all those years ago, conspiricy was afoot.

We'll if the government won't tell the princes the real truth, at least we can rely on people like Annie and Linda to get to the bottom.

Why do stupid people insist on looking for drama despite mundane explanations for strategy. Diana's death is very simple: drunk driversd get in accident, not wearing a seat-belt in an car accident can kill you.

Why does not al Fayed get off his low horse and shut up. His repetive comments over the years lack factual references.

As for 'Annie's' comments about 'the real truth' what does she mean? She should consult her dictionary.

My late uncle belonged to a Jewish who's who family from Quebec. After his shiksa bleed him dry after throwing out each and every child at 16, he took up with a Palestinian woman and 4 months later, he collapsed and died at a Rochester cancer treatment centre.

Before you write off the Diana conspiracy theories, be sure to Google the Paul Wellstone story. He was the only one who voted to obey the UN and the Geneva Convention on the Iraq war issue. I have to believe an example was made out of him.
