Britain's Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, will bare her soul to a psychologist in a new TV series.
The duchess will be interviewed by Pamela Stephenson - former star of comedy show 'Not The Nine O'Clock News' - for the Channel 4 series 'Shrink Rap', which will be screened on sister digital station More4.
A Channel 4 spokesman told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "It will get away from the usual studio chat show where the celebrity gives the official story.
"Pamela knows all about fame as she's experienced it at first hand and she's observed its effect on her husband, comedian Billy Connolly, and their superstar friends."
The flame-haired royal is certain to have a lot to talk about on the revealing show.
Since marrying Prince Andrew in 1986 she has had a difficult time in the limelight.
In 1992 her image seemed to be tarnished beyond repair when the infamous 'toe sucking' photos were published in the British press showing Sarah being intimate with Texan Steve Wyatt.
Sarah and Andrew - who have two children Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie - officially separated shortly after and the duchess found herself shunned by the British Royal Family, who were left embarrassed by the scandal, and struggling with debts of £4 million.
However, a decade on the duchess - who officially divorced Andrew in 1996 - has successfully reinvented herself and she is now the US spokesman for Weight Watchers, the author of hit children's book series 'Budgie the Little Helicopter' and an ardent campaigner for a number of charities.
Other stars lined-up to appear on the Channel 4 show include former Labour Cabinet Minister David Blunkett.
