Britain's Prince Charles is set to unveil plans to rejuvenate a Jamaican ghetto.
The Prince's Foundation - Charles' architectural charity - plan to redevelop part of Trenchtown, home to reggae legend Bob Marley.
The rundown concrete high-rise buildings, which have become overrun by gunmen, will be replaced with traditional lime-washed bungalows and palm tree-lined streets.
Trenchtown, in Kingston, was mentioned in Marley's classic hit 'No Woman, No Cry' and the redevelopment will take place near Marley's old home Culture Yard.
Since Marley's death in 1981, the area has become overrun by political gang violence and rising unemployment.
New homes will be provided for 3,000 people and the scheme will be officially announced later this month.
Hank Dittmar, chief executive of the architectural foundation, said work would begin in December.
The Jamaican government are expected to provide £2.5 million for the scheme.
The project is Charles' first major international development plan and follows the news that he is buying a Transylvanian retreat.
He is hoping to bring new life to the area - listed as a world heritage site - made famous by Bram Stoker's 'Count Dracula'.
