Prince William's Bond bikini

Britain's Prince William left his fellow cadets in hysterics after dressing up in a bikini for an army party.

William - who is the second in line to the throne - wore a green two-piece swimsuit and Hawaiian-style flowers around his neck for a James Bond-themed party at Sandhurst Military Academy.

The 24-year-old royal was accompanied by his girlfriend Kate Middleton, who dressed up as the suave British spy himself, wearing a wetsuit and carrying a toy gun.

A fellow reveller told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: "William and Kate were hilarious. All night he pretended to pout like a Bond girl, while Kate did her impression of Sean Connery. Everyone had expected him to turn up in a black tux and her in a ball gown. It's not often you get to spend an evening with the future king wearing a bikini."

The fancy-dress party - attended by over 200 guests - marked the start of the cadets' final term at Sandhurst.

William now faces 11 weeks of gruelling training - previously endured by his brother Prince Harry who also attended the academy - before he can pass out as an officer in September.

However, Sandhurst sources claim William should have no problem putting up with the intense regime.

A source said: "William is an excellent all-rounder. He may not be as physically strong as Harry but he has coped with sleeping in ditches just as well as the academic aspects of the training."
